The public is welcome, and ATA membership is not required, but scores can be filed with ATA for $1/day. April 5, 2025(3 events) – Need work hours or just want to help? Please join us at the tractor barn to prepare our buildings and grounds for the Fishing Derby on April 25th. Volunteers are needed to for grounds prep: raking, brush pickup, etc. Volunteer and get credit for your family's annual work hour assessment. Please RSVP on SignUpGenius. Tractor Barn – Volunteer to help with spring cleaning the Action Bays, and satisfy your family's annual work hour requirement. Tasks include leaf removal, rock picking, and target stand repair. April 6, 2025(2 events) – The Archery group is hosting a Granite State Bowhunters 3D shoot. Adult GSB shooters with membership cards pay $12, non-members $15 - save $3 by joining GSB at registration ($10 for individuals, $15 for families). Under 18's shoot free. The clubhouse upstairs will be running a cafe, so the indoor range is closed for the duration. Outdoor ranges should remain open. Questions to the Archery Chair. WSC East & West 3D Archery Loops – Sunday afternoon trap, Show up and sign up from 12:30PM-1:00PM. Outdoor Pistol Range – Both of WSC's Trap fields are open on Mondays in summer for Trap Team practice. For our members on the Greater Lowell Trap League, this is a great time to get in practice in lighting situations similar to League evening shoots. Set-up starts at 4:30PM; shooting starts at 5:00PM and at least runs until 6:30PM, if not sunset (but may close early if all the shooters on-site have finished). Direct any questions to our Trap Chair. Trap Field – General Membership meeting at the clubhouse, shared via Zoom teleconference for those who do not wish to meet in person. Tractor Barn – Qualifications for use of the Action Bays by club members, to ensure that participants can safely use a holster with a handgun and shoot safely. In essence, there will be a written test, and you will be required to draw and fire from a holster and hit a target at thirty feet. Requirements:
Full requirements are in the Action Bay Qualification Procedures. The test is an open book 25-question multiple-choice which must be completed in 30 minutes. The passing grade is 84%, and requires great familiarity with the rules to finish in time. Resources: Action Bay Range Rules and Cross Functional Rules Registration is required, to ensure that you can be notified of last-minute schedule changes. Contact the Action Bay Chair. This is a qualification session for the Action Bays. Successful completion is required to gain access to the Action Bays. Outdoor Action Bay Range – Registration Required!! All members must have an Orange Card to use the outdoor ranges. Cards are issued after a safety briefing, given by the Outdoor Range Chair. To attend, you must register by EMailing the Chair at least 3 days in advance. Please follow the instructions in the Chair's response carefully.
