March 31, 2026(2 events) 2026 Membership Renewal Final Deadline N/A If you haven't paid your 2026 dues by now, today is your last chance to renew without undergoing the entire new member interview process, including the $250 initiation fee. (And you've owed a $25 late payment fee since the end of February). Contact the Membership Secretary to renew. Game Preserve closes for Summer N/A This is the last day that WSC's private game preserve is open for upland game bird hunting. It re-opens on the 15th of September. April 11, 2026(3 events) Fishing Derby Work Party – Need work hours or just want to help? Please join us at the tractor barn to prepare our buildings and grounds for the Fishing Derby on April 25th. Volunteers are needed to for grounds prep: raking, brush pickup, etc. Volunteer and get credit for your family's annual work hour assessment. Please RSVP on SignUpGenius. Questions to the Fishing Derby Chair P. S. Please support the derby by returning your donation tickets. Tractor Barn ATA Trap Marathon – All-day trap event - both fields reserved. Participation at the event is open to all members of the Amateur Trapshooting Association - both WSC members, and the public. Targets only; $20.00 per hundred. Singles, Handicap, Doubles. No options, purses, or prizes. $6.00 ATA and MATA daily fees apply. The shoot is sanctioned by the ATA, and scores will be entered into the ATA's official records. ATA rules apply. Entrants must be members of the ATA to participate; however, participants will be able to join the ATA at this event. Lunch, coffee, and sodas will be available. Management reserves any entry or to change the program or cancel the event at its discretion. April 12, 2026(3 events) Action Bay Qualifications – Qualifications for use of the Action Bays by club members, to ensure that participants can safely use a holster with a handgun and shoot safely. In essence, there will be a written test, and you will be required to draw and fire from a holster and hit a target at thirty feet. Requirements:
Full requirements are in the Action Bay Qualification Procedures. The test is an open book 25-question multiple-choice which must be completed in 30 minutes. The passing grade is 84%, and requires great familiarity with the rules to finish in time. Resources: Action Bay Range Rules and Cross Functional Rules Registration is required, to ensure that you can be notified of last-minute schedule changes. Contact the Action Bay Chair. This is a qualification session for the Action Bays. Successful completion is required to gain access to the Action Bays. Outdoor Action Bay Range Outdoor Range Safety Briefing (Pistol range closed) – Registration Required!! All members must have an Orange Card to use the outdoor ranges. Cards are issued after a safety briefing, given by the Outdoor Range Chair. To attend, you must register by EMailing the Chair at least 3 days in advance. Please follow the instructions in the Chair's response carefully. Note well: you must register to ensure that you can be notified of a last-minute schedule changes. April 14, 2026(1 event) Indoor Pistol Range GSSR - Range Reserved – All members must pass a Gun Skills Safety Review (GSSR) to gain access to the Indoor Range (via their WSC Proximity Cards). If so, and you own a .22 handgun, then the WSC intra-club, low key, but well structured Summer Precision Pistol League might be right for you. This introduction to the League is intended for both current pistol team members, and WSC members interested in trying Precision Pistol ("Bullseye").
