This years derby went great – we had 197 children from over 33 towns. The largest trout for a girl was 16¼ inches, and the largest trout for a boy was 15½ inches. 122 fish were logged from the 1030 that were put into the pond; and 302 hot dogs were eaten.

The “borrow-a-fishing rod” program was very successful. We used all 15 of the club’s poles. They were borrowed several times over. I would like to thank the many volunteers that we had that made this event possible. A special thanks to the registration crew, parking crew, kitchen crew, measuring crew and all the clean up crews. Raffle prizes are as follows: 1st Carter Leduc, 2nd Michael Nelson, 3rd Cameron Vivolo. Thank you to all the members that donated.
