This years derby went great – we had 197 children from over 33 towns. The largest trout for a girl was 16¼ inches, and the largest trout for a boy was 15½ inches. 122 fish were logged from the 1030 that were put into the pond; and 302 hot dogs were eaten.
Open to all children under the age of 14. Registration starts at 7:30AM, and admission is free! The Derby runs from 8:00AM-10:30AM, rain or shine; prizes are awarded at 11:00AM. Please see our fishing page for more details on how to enter or support the Derby.
Last year’s retrospective has a gallery of Ken Proulx’s great photos.
