The roof covering the shooting stations on the rifle range has been repaired, and the range is now open again.
Thank you for your patience.
If you haven’t heard, WSC is hosting an all-day Trap Marathon on Saturday, April 10th. If you’re unfamiliar with the format, contact the Trap chair for details.
Thanks to a run of dry weather, the road leading to the outdoor ranges is now open to member traffic again. Vehicles can once again drive past the pond and park by the outdoor ranges and the Sporting Clays trailer. As always, travel with care just in case the odd wet spot or low-hanging branch persists.
Al Prescott, WSC President
A club officer’s personal address book has been copied by hackers. They are masquerading as the officer in bogus EMails asking people to shop for gift cards on their behalf to be used to buy “Corona Disease” masks for veterans in “Hospice and Palliative care units”.
There is no club veteran hospice virus mask program. This is a criminal fraud. WSC officers will never contact members to buy gift cards on their behalf for any purpose. Do not respond to such EMails in any way.
The scholarship benefit auction is over, and the winner has been notified. Details to follow in the next club newsletter.
