Westford Sportsmen’s Club Media Policy

Note: The term “Media” used in this policy refers to anyone who creates content whether written, recorded or photographic, intended for broad distribution to an audience. The medium of distribution may be traditional channels such as newspapers, television or magazines, or newer ones such as podcasts and social media.

The grounds of the Westford Sportsmen’s Club are private property and no one who is a member of the Media is allowed on those grounds for the purpose of creating content without the prior written approval of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee may require an interview with the Media representative prior to granting approval.

Members may not use the guest policy to bring Media representatives onto club grounds without permission from the Executive Committee. If a member brings a guest onto club grounds and finds out that the guest intends to use their visit to produce Media content, the member should ask their guest to leave club grounds immediately, and notify the Executive Committee.

Any club member who intends to distribute content created on club grounds though the media must first secure permission from the Executive Committee. The preferred method for distributing content members create on club grounds is to pass that content to the club Marketing Chairman.
