Thanksgiving Trap Shoot

(Event starts at 10:00AM, sign-up begins at 9:30AM).

This is the final Trap event for this year. Unlike the other events that we sponsor, it is not about “high scores”. It is all about being lucky and having fun. The prizes awarded will be (you guessed it) – Turkey. There are three ways to win: White Bird Lottery, Special Bursting bird Instant Winner, and a Door Prize. Now is your chance to bag that turkey just in time for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

The entry fee for the event will be $5, which includes beverages/snacks and a raffle ticket to win a Turkey as a door prize. Each round of Trap will cost $3. Participants may sign up for as many times as time allows. To keep it fair and spread the wealth, the only rule for this event is that you can only win one turkey.

As in past years, you will receive a lottery ticket for each “white” bird” that you break during the round. Rather than automatically winning a Turkey, a lottery ticket in your name will be placed in a pool for each white bird you break and the winners will be drawn at the end of the event. To increase the action, the number of “white” birds per round have increased to provide more people with a chance to win. The more “white” birds you break the higher your chances of winning a turkey.

We will also have a few special orange targets that contain orange powder that burst into a puff of orange when hit. Hit one of those and you will automatically win a Turkey.

Post Event Shooting

For those of you that would like to get a little more shooting in on Saturday, there will also be Adios and Protection rounds. Entry fee for those events will be $3 and the total proceeds will be split 50/50 between the club and the winner(s) of the event.
