March 5, 2026(1 event) – Enhanced version of our popular multi-week Trap fundamentals clinic for new shotgun shooters. The course introduces members to Trap - acquiring knowledge and skills to confidently join squads on line, and a peer group to enjoy learning with. As well as hows and whats, we present original materials and videos to explain the whys. Graduates are prepared to join league competition and take in-person professional coaching. Schedule:

March 8, 2026(5 events) A reminder that qualifications are required for use of the Action Bays by club members, to ensure that participants can safely use a holster with a handgun and shoot safely. Sessions are not regularly scheduled in advance during winter, but may be arranged by contacting the Action Bay Chair. In essence, there will be a written test, and you will be required to draw and fire from a holster and hit a target at thirty feet. Requirements:
Full requirements are in the Action Bay Qualification Procedures. The test is an open book 25-question multiple-choice which must be completed in 30 minutes. The passing grade is 84%, and requires great familiarity with the rules to finish in time. Resources: Action Bay Range Rules and Cross Functional Rules Registration is required, to ensure that you can be notified of last-minute schedule changes. Contact the Action Bay Chair. Successful completion a qualification session is required to gain access to the Action Bays. March 14, 2026(2 events) – NRA-certified instructors will teach NRA Home Firearm Safety, a nationally-recognized training course for the safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition in the home. At the successful completion of this course, students will receive a basic firearm safety certificate which satisfies the Massachusetts legal requirement for applying for a License to Carry firearms (or the Firearms Identification Card, which conveys fewer privileges). Students will be charged $50.00 (cash, or check made out to the name of the WSC President) to cover course materials with proceeds going to the Scholarship Fund. (Classes of this type are currently retailing for $125.00). This is an LTC eligible class that will be grandfathered before the new laws go into effect. This course will be open to Club members and their immediate family. Students must register via SignUp Genius. The clubhouse indoor range will be closed for the duration of the class. March 22, 2026(4 events) – The Archery group is hosting a Granite State Bowhunters 3D shoot. Adult GSB shooters with membership cards pay $12, non-members $15 - save $3 by joining GSB at registration ($10 for individuals, $15 for families). Under 18's shoot free. The clubhouse upstairs will be running a cafe, so the indoor range is closed for the duration. Outdoor ranges should remain open. Questions to the Archery Chair. April 2, 2026(1 event) – The club's Doubles League competes at the Trap range. Each round of 50 pairs (100 targets) is $20.00. The public is welcome, and ATA membership is not required, but scores can be filed with ATA for $1/day.
