    Show up and sign up from 12:30PM-1:00PM. Trap continues to run until the shooters who arrived promptly have worn out themselves (and the scorers). This usually occurs by 3PM. So to get the most out of your afternoon, show up at the start of the session.

    General Membership meeting at the clubhouse, shared via Zoom teleconference for those who do not wish to meet in person. Connection details to be supplied by club E-blast; here is a copy of the links that members can click on.

    If you choose to attend the meetings in person:

    • If you have been fully vaccinated, no face covering is required.
    • If you have not been fully vaccinated, a face covering and/or social distancing is strongly recommended.

    The monthly meal is a hot dog, a cup of chili, a bag of chips, dessert, and choice of drink - all for only $5!

    There will be no guest speaker this month.

  • Action Bay Qualification REMINDER

    A reminder that qualifications are required for use of the Action Bays by club members, to ensure that participants can safely use a holster with a handgun and shoot safely. Sessions are not regularly scheduled in advance during winter, but may be arranged by contacting the Action Bay Chair.

    In essence, there will be a written test, and you will be required to draw and fire from a holster and hit a target at thirty feet.

    Requirements:

    • Center fire handgun in an acceptable caliber (see the rules)
    • Belt-style holster that completely covers the trigger guard of the gun
    • At least 30 rounds of ammo
    • Orange range card (see the CRO for replacement of lost cards)
    • Eye and ear protection
    • Baseball-style hat
    • A digital/printed copy of the rules for reference during the test
    • A pen to take the written test

    Full requirements are in the Action Bay Qualification Procedures.

    The test is an open book 25-question multiple-choice which must be completed in 30 minutes. The passing grade is 84%, and requires great familiarity with the rules to finish in time.

    Successful completion a qualification session is required to gain access to the Action Bays.

    All members must have an Orange Card to use the outdoor ranges. Cards are issued after a safety briefing, given by the Outdoor Range Chair. To attend, you must register by EMailing the Chair at least 3 days in advance. Please follow the instructions in the Chair's response carefully.

    Note well: you must register to ensure that you can be notified of a last-minute schedule changes.

    The Archery group is hosting a Granite State Bowhunters 3D shoot.

    Adult GSB shooters with membership cards pay $12, non-members $15 - save $3 by joining GSB at registration ($10 for individuals, $15 for families). Under 18's shoot free.

    The clubhouse upstairs will be running a cafe, so the indoor range is closed for the duration. Outdoor ranges should remain open.

    Enhanced version of our popular multi-week Trap fundamentals clinic for new shotgun shooters.

    The course introduces members to Trap - acquiring knowledge and skills to confidently join squads on line, and a peer group to enjoy learning with. As well as hows and whats, we present original materials and videos to explain the whys. Graduates are prepared to join league competition and take in-person professional coaching.

    Schedule:
