7 Forestry Property Walk Forestry Property Walk 8:30 am – 1:00 pm January 7, 2018 Walk the perimeter of the WSC property with our Forestry chair or his son Bob. Be prepared for a 5 mile hike in winter conditions. Along the way Bob's party will "age" several large pine trees, and check on club signage. Norm's party will bushwhack trailess lands. Please meet at the club house downstairs, and bring a snack, water and your camera. Junior Club Meeting Junior Club Meeting 8:30 am – 2:00 pm January 7, 2018 The WSC Junior Club will hold a meeting. Trap continues to run until the shooters who arrived promptly at 1PM have worn out themselves (and the scorers). This usually occurs by 3PM. So to get the most out of your afternoon, show up at the start of the session. 14 Rescheduled Outdoor Range Safety Briefing Rescheduled Outdoor Range Safety Briefing 11:30 am – 2:00 pm January 14, 2018 Registration Required!! All members must have an Orange Card to use the outdoor ranges. Cards are issued after a safety briefing, given by the Outdoor Range Chair. To attend, you must register by EMailing the Chair at least 3 days in advance. Agenda: * Meet in the clubhouse downstairs, participate in classroom briefing. * Travel to the outdoor pistol range (2 minute drive on the grounds), participate in range training. Cards are updated after the GSSR by the Indoor Range Chair. To attend, you must register by eMailing the Chair at least 3 days in advance. The meeting starts with the presentation, so please plan on being seated by the starting time. The meeting should last approximately one hour, depending on the number of applicants. Bring your dirty guns, manuals, workmats, and cleaning supplies to the clubhouse. Enter downstairs at 9:45AM sharp to have your gun safed, and then we'll proceed to the upstairs meeting room to show you how to clean them safely. (The indoor range is closed from 9:00AM-1:00PM). Police outdoor range session Police outdoor range session 9:00 am – 2:30 pm January 31, 2018 Police training on the outdoor rifle range.
