Schedule:
- 5:00PM: Setup.
- 5:30PM: Match starts.
- 7:30PM: Match ends.
The match is for Action Bay qualified members only.
Action Bays will be closed during this time.
Club matches feature mixed steel, paper and moving targets. Centerfire handguns and PCCs are allowed. The round count is 100 max.
Caution: the event may be canceled in case of inclement weather. If so, the Action Shooting Pits chair will send EMail by 4:30PM. Absent your access to EMail, you may inquire by phoning him.

September 6, 2025A multi-disciplene event for WSC members and their families. A friendly competition including:
- Precision Pistol
- Precision Rifle
- Action Pistol
- Archery
- Axe Throw
- Trap
There will also be a cookout by the pond under the new pop-up dining shelters. In the event of rain, we'll use the clubhouse upstairs meeting room.
Cost: $15/person. This includes lunch. All guns, ammo, bows, arrows, axes will be provided by the club.

Action Bay Qualifications (PISTOL RANGE CLOSED) Action Bay Qualifications (PISTOL RANGE CLOSED)

September 7, 2025Qualifications for use of the Action Bays by club members, to ensure that participants can safely use a holster with a handgun and shoot safely.
In essence, there will be a written test, and you will be required to draw and fire from a holster and hit a target at thirty feet.
Requirements:
- Center fire handgun in an acceptable caliber (see the rules)
- Belt-style holster that completely covers the trigger guard of the gun
- At least 30 rounds of ammo
- Orange range card (see the CRO for replacement of lost cards)
- Eye and ear protection
- Baseball-style hat
- A digital/printed copy of the rules for reference during the test
- A pen to take the written test
Full requirements are in the Action Bay Qualification Procedures.
The test is an open book 25-question multiple-choice which must be completed in 30 minutes. The passing grade is 84%, and requires great familiarity with the rules to finish in time.

This is a qualification session for the Action Bays. Successful completion is required to gain access to the Action Bays.

September 9, 2025All members must pass a Gun Skills Safety Review (GSSR) to gain access to the Indoor Range (via their WSC Proximity Cards). Proximity Card permissions are updated after the GSSR by the Indoor Range Chair. To attend, you must register by EMailing the Chair at least 3 days in advance.

September 10, 2025Today's session will be held on the rifle range and Action Bays #1 and #3; which will be dedicated to Steel Challenge from 5:00PM-dusk.
Action Bay-qualified shooters can sign up on Practiscore to attend.
Fee: $5.00, collected at 5:00PM at the beginning of the match.
Please be sure to arrive by 5:00 pm at the Action Bay entrance to: check in, prepare your equipment, and attend the mandatory Safety Briefing which is a requirement to shoot. First shots will begin at 5:30PM; we estimate that we will finish by 7:30PM, depending on the number of participants.

September 12, 2025WSC members will gather at the outdoor fire pit, consume wild game (and an adult beverage or two), tell stories of summer, and tall tales of the hunting season to come.
If it rains, we'll go indoors to the clubhouse upstairs meeting room.
Sign up isn’t required, but it can’t hurt, especially if you are bringing some food or beverage to share so we avoid excess or duplication.

Targets only; $20.00 per hundred. Singles, Handicap, Doubles. No options, purses, or prizes.
$6.00 ATA and MATA daily fees apply. The shoot is sanctioned by the ATA, and scores will be entered into the ATA's official records. ATA rules apply. Entrants must be members of the ATA to participate; however, participants will be able to join the ATA at this event.
Lunch, coffee, and sodas will be available.
Management reserves any entry or to change the program or cancel the event at its discretion.
