March 6, 2022The Archery group is hosting a Granite State Bowhunters 3D shoot.
Adult GSB shooters with membership cards pay $12, non-members $15 - save $3 by joining GSB at registration ($10 for individuals, $15 for families). Under 18's shoot free.
The clubhouse upstairs will be running a cafe, so the indoor range is closed for the duration. Outdoor ranges should remain open.

March 6, 2022Sunday afternoon trap.
Trap has resumed on a semi-restricted basis for WSC members, and their friends and family only. (The front gate will not be left ajar by the Trap committee, so if your family/guests are not carpooling and don't have a gate card, please coordinate to let them through upon their arrival). Also, payments for rounds may now be made online.
Participant use of the online reservation system that was inaugurated during the coronavirus lockdown is now optional - reservations are no longer mandatory. However, the reservation system is still an excellent place to check before heading to the club in case a session has been canceled at the last minute.

March 7, 2022General Membership meeting at the clubhouse, shared via Zoom teleconference for those who do not wish to meet in person. Connection details to be supplied by club E-blast; here is a copy of the links that you can click on.
If you choose to attend the meetings in person:
- If you have been fully vaccinated, no face covering is required.
- If you have not been fully vaccinated, a face covering and/or social distancing is strongly recommended.
The monthly meal is a hot dog, cup of chili, orange slices, a brownie bite, and a drink - all for only $5!
The guest speaker(s) are: Jay Scott Ammann of the Big Buck Registry hunting podcast on "Hunting, the Outdoors, and more - the Podcast Perspective".

March 8, 2022All members must pass a Gun Skills Safety Review (GSSR) to gain access to the Indoor Range (via their WSC Proximity Cards). Proximity Card permissions are updated after the GSSR by the Indoor Range Chair. To attend, you must register by EMailing the Chair at least 3 days in advance.
Agenda:
- Meet in the clubhouse downstairs
- View a safety video
- Take a brief quiz on range procedures
- Demonstrate safe gun handling and usage with a live-fire test

All members must have an Orange Card to use the outdoor ranges. Cards are issued after a safety briefing, given by the Outdoor Range Chair. To attend, you must register by EMailing the Chair at least 3 days in advance.

March 20, 2022A presentation for prospective members is held in the clubhouse. Masks must be worn at the meeting. Indoor range is closed.
The meeting starts with the presentation, so please plan on being seated by the starting time. The meeting should last approximately one hour, depending on the number of applicants.

March 27, 2022The Forestry chair will lead a walk exploring the land surrounding Clay Pit Hill in Groton, to the immediate west of WSC's Westford lands.
We will be walking mostly on trails. Wear appropriate footwear, and pack a drink and snack. Meet at the flagpole at 8:00AM sharp.

March 31, 2022This is the last day that WSC's private game preserve is open for upland game bird hunting. It re-opens on the 15th of September. Contact the Game Preserve chair for details.
