August 1, 2021(1 event) Trap Fields Open (Members/Friends/Family Only) – Sunday afternoon trap. Trap has resumed on a semi-restricted basis for WSC members, and their friends and family only. (The front gate will not be left ajar by the Trap committee, so if your family/guests are not carpooling and don't have a gate card, please coordinate to let them through upon their arrival). Also, payments for rounds may now be made online. Participant use of the online reservation system that was inaugurated during the coronavirus lockdown is now optional - reservations are no longer mandatory. However, the reservation system is still an excellent place to check before heading to the club in case a session has been canceled at the last minute. Questions to the Trap Chair. |
August 2, 2021(4 events) Clubhouse cleaning (Indoor Range CLOSED) – The indoor range will be closed while the crew from Molly Maids is cleaning the clubhouse. Questions to the Indoor Range chair on range issues, Trap Team Practice – Both of WSC's Trap fields are open on Mondays in summer for Trap Team Practice. For our members on the Greater Lowell Trap League, this is a great time to get in practice in lighting situations similar to League evening shoots. (In theory shooting continues until sunset, Direct any questions to our Trap Chair. RESCHEDULED Executive Board Meeting – E-board meets in the clubhouse. Indoor range is closed. HYBRID General Membership Meeting; Dinner: Steak on a Stick – General Membership meeting at the clubhouse, shared via Zoom teleconference for those who do not wish to meet in person. Pistol Team Practice (Indoor Range Reserved) – Time to start knocking the rust off and prepare for the Nashoba Valley Pistol League 2021-2022 season. Hope to see as many members of Westford's two NVPL teams as can make it. WSC club members also welcomed to attend to watch, get information, ask questions, try Precision Pistol target shooting. August 7, 2021(2 events) Action Bay Qualifications – Qualifications for use of the Action Bays by club members, to ensure that participants can safely use a holster with a handgun and shoot safely. In essence, there will be a written test, and you will be required to draw and fire from a holster and hit a target at thirty feet. Further details are in Action Bay Qualification Procedures and Action Bay Range Rules. Instructors will break for lunch between 12:00 noon and 1:00PM. RSVP to (or get info from) the Action Pits chair. Sporting Clays – Shooting on our Sporting Clays course. Open to non-members. Please arrive in the parking lot by 9:10AM for squad assignments.
