January 13, 2024(1 event) – NRA-certified instructors will teach NRA Home Firearm Safety, a nationally-recognized training course for the safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition in the home. At the successful completion of this course, students will receive a basic firearm safety certificate which satisfies the Massachusetts legal requirement for applying for a License to Carry firearms (or the Firearms Identification Card, which conveys fewer privileges). Students will be charged $50.00 to cover course materials with proceeds going to the Scholarship Fund. (Classes of this type are currently retailing for $125.00). This course will be open to Club members and their immediate family. Students must register by contacting the WSC Training/Education chair. The clubhouse indoor range will be closed for the duration of the class. |
