6 Pistol Team "900" Match INDOOR RANGE RESERVED 8:00 am – 6:00 pm January 6, 2024 The WSC pistol teams are holding a 900 point match, to practice before the second half of the NVPL season. The indoor range will be reserved for the event (and the clubhouse upstairs meeting room and kitchen will be off-limits for the duration). Questions to the pistol team Secretary.

8 Clubhouse cleaning (Indoor Range CLOSED) 11:00 am – 12:00 pm January 8, 2024 The indoor range will be closed while the crew from Molly Maids is cleaning the clubhouse. Questions to the Indoor Range chair on range issues, or the Recording Secretary for facilities issues.

10 Pistol Team Match - Indoor Range Reserved 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm January 10, 2024 A match for a Westford pistol team in the Nashoba Valley Pistol League. Questions to the Pistol Team's Secretary.

13 NRA Home Firearm Safety Course (Indoor Range CLOSED) 9:00 am – 1:00 pm January 13, 2024 NRA-certified instructors will teach NRA Home Firearm Safety, a nationally-recognized training course for the safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition in the home. At the successful completion of this course, students will receive a basic firearm safety certificate which satisfies the Massachusetts legal requirement for applying for a License to Carry firearms (or the Firearms Identification Card, which conveys fewer privileges). Students will be charged $50.00 to cover course materials with proceeds going to the Scholarship Fund. (Classes of this type are currently retailing for $125.00). This course will be open to Club members and their immediate family. Students must register by contacting the WSC Training/Education chair. The clubhouse indoor range will be closed for the duration of the class.

16 Indoor Pistol Range GSSR - Range Reserved 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm January 16, 2024 All members must pass a Gun Skills Safety Review (GSSR) to gain access to the Indoor Range (via their WSC Proximity Cards). Proximity Card permissions are updated after the GSSR by the Indoor Range Chair. To attend, you must register by EMailing the Chair at least 3 days in advance. Agenda: Meet in the clubhouse downstairs View a safety video Take a brief quiz on range procedures Demonstrate safe gun handling and usage with a live-fire test (Bring gun and approved target ammo)
