Participant use of the online reservation system that was inaugurated during the coronavirus lockdown is now optional - reservations are no longer mandatory. November 6, 2021(1 event) – This will be the first club match for qualified members for a fee of $5 as well as a free demonstration session for those not yet qualified. The Action Bays will be used with at least 5 mixed stages set up. Stay tuned for details. This is a reschedule of the match on 30-Oct'21 due to weather cancellation. November 7, 2021(6 events) – Are you lost in the woods when your smart phone dies? Maps and a compass don't die after a day of constant use, they don't short out when dropped in a puddle, and how well you use them can make your life easy, and possibly even save it. If you are interested in learning, re-learning, or simply polishing up on this essential skill, EMail John Fernandez to reserve your spot. This clinic is free of charge to WSC members. Questions to the Education and Training Chair. – Qualifications for use of the Action Bays by club members, to ensure that participants can safely use a holster with a handgun and shoot safely. In essence, there will be a written test, and you will be required to draw and fire from a holster and hit a target at thirty feet. Requirements:
Full requirements are in the Action Bay Qualification Procedures. The test is an open book 25-question multiple-choice which must be completed in 30 minutes. The passing grade is 21 correct answers, and requires great familiarity with the rules to finish in time. Successful completion is required to gain access to the Action Bays. – Registration Required!! All members must have an Orange Card to use the outdoor ranges. Cards are issued after a safety briefing, given by the Outdoor Range Chair. To attend, you must register by EMailing the Chair at least 3 days in advance. November 9, 2021(1 event) – All members must pass a Gun Skills Safety Review (GSSR) to gain access to the Indoor Range (via their WSC Proximity Cards). November 20, 2021(1 event) – Annual Turkey Shoot at the Trap Fields. Signups begin at 9:30AM. Participants can win instant prize or raffle chance by breaking special targets mixed in with regular ones. We keep going as long as people want to shoot. $10 entry fee includes two 25-shot rounds of trap, and lunch:
