June 16, 2024(1 event) Trap Fields Open – Sunday afternoon trap, Show up and sign up from 12:30PM-1:00PM. Trap continues to run until the shooters who arrived promptly have worn out themselves (and the scorers). This usually occurs by 3PM. So to get the most out of your afternoon, show up at the start of the session. Questions to the Trap Chair. |
June 17, 2024(1 event) Trap Team Practice – Both of WSC's Trap fields are open on Mondays in summer for Trap Team practice. For our members on the Greater Lowell Trap League, this is a great time to get in practice in lighting situations similar to League evening shoots. Set-up starts at 4:30PM; shooting starts at 5:00PM and at least runs until 6:30PM, if not sunset (but may close early if all the shooters on-site have finished). June 21, 2024(1 event) Red Cross Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED training – Heart attacks are the leading cause of death at any shooting range, sportmens club, and the population at large. This course will give you the information and the skills you need to help adults and children during many emergency situations, including the practice of CPR, and operation of Automated External Defibrillators. The instruction will be delivered via the American Red Cross's "blended training" method, which combines pre-class online work with hands-on skills sessions. You must complete the online blending learning portion before Friday, February 9th. Tuition is $65.00/person. This class will be a complete Red Cross class. Spots will be limited. June 22, 2024(1 event) Action Bays Demo Match (Rifle Range CLOSED) – Have you always wondered what a match in the Action Bays is like? Now you can experience a match without needing to qualify for the Action Bays. We are holding a demonstration match. Bring your favorite 9mm, .38 special, .40, or .45 ACP handgun, a case or holster, a couple of magazines or speed loaders, and a box of ammo or two. The mandatory safety meeting will start at 10:00AM. First shots will follow the meeting. There will be plenty of experienced shooters and Range Officers's on hand to answer your questions, and help you through the match in a safe manner.
