April 14, 2024(4 events) Granite State Bowhunters 3-D Shoot, All Archers Welcome! INDOOR RANGE CLOSED – The Archery group is hosting a Granite State Bowhunters 3D shoot. Adult GSB shooters with membership cards pay $12, non-members $15 - save $3 by joining GSB at registration ($10 for individuals, $15 for families). Under 18's shoot free. The clubhouse upstairs will be running a cafe, so the indoor range is closed for the duration. Outdoor ranges should remain open. Questions to the Archery Chair. Action Bays Cleanup Work Party – Volunteers are needed to help clean up the Action Bays. If you can, please bring gloves, garden rake, leaf rake, and/or a shovel. Club tools will be available as well. To volunteer, sign up here and get credit for your family's annual work hour assessment. Contact the Action Shooting Pits Chair with any questions. Action Bay Qualifications (PISTOL RANGE CLOSED) – Qualifications for use of the Action Bays by club members, to ensure that participants can safely use a holster with a handgun and shoot safely. In essence, there will be a written test, and you will be required to draw and fire from a holster and hit a target at thirty feet. Requirements:
Full requirements are in the Action Bay Qualification Procedures. The test is an open book 25-question multiple-choice which must be completed in 30 minutes. The passing grade is 84%, and requires great familiarity with the rules to finish in time. Resources: Action Bay Range Rules and Cross Functional Rules Registration is required, to ensure that you can be notified of last-minute schedule changes. Contact Action Bay Chair. This is a qualification session for the Action Bays. Successful completion is required to gain access to the Action Bays. Outdoor Range Safety Briefing (Pistol range closed 1PM-2PM) – Registration Required!! All members must have an Orange Card to use the outdoor ranges. Cards are issued after a safety briefing, given by the Outdoor Range Chair. To attend, you must register by EMailing the Chair at least 3 days in advance. Please follow the instructions in the Chair's response carefully. Note well: you must register to ensure that you can be notified of a last-minute schedule changes. |

April 17, 2024(2 events) Trout Stocking – The truck will be delivering trout at the club around 11:30AM. If you would like to help with putting the fish in or just see the process, stop by. Don't be late as it happens quickly. Questions to the Forestry/Tree Farm chair. Precision Pistol Summer League Introductory Session (Indoor Range CLOSED) – An introduction of the Intraclub Individual Handicap Summer Pistol League. Intended for both current pistol team members, and WSC members interested in trying Precision Pistol ("Bullseye"). There will be no shooting practice that night - the indoor range is closed so that the intro can use the clubhouse upstairs meeting room. Questions to the Pistol Team Secretary. |
