May 18, 2014(4 events) New Member Presentation – A presentation for prospective members is held in the clubhouse. Indoor range is closed. The meeting starts with the presentation, so please plan on being seated by the starting time. The meeting should last approximately one hour, depending on the number of applicants. WSC Archery: PVC Bow Clinic Sunday May 18 – Join Jeff Kemp, Dave Martin and John Fernandez for our first 2014 bow making clinic - this time making "Youth Recurves", a flexible and easily-made design that's great for women and teens, yet pulls up to 40# at a full 28", and provides an ideal way to learn to basics of PVC bow making. One session will get your bow shaped and ready for paint or other decoration, and we'll add strings and tuning arrows shortly after. We request a $5 donation for each bow to cover materials and equipment, and we need to know in advance if you're coming. Contact me (Ken Towl) or any of the instructors... enjoy! WSC Archery: Target Training Courses begin Sunday May 18 – Join WSC Archery Chief Instructor Shinji Yue for our first target archery event of 2014. He's organizing programs for youth and adults from absolute beginners to advanced Olympic-style competition. Courses will be held on Sundays from 1:30-3:30PM. Registration is required, and there is a $5 fee per session - see the attached form or announcement sent to the archery list for details.
