March 16, 2024(1 event) NRA Home Firearm Safety Course (Indoor Range CLOSED) – NRA-certified instructors will teach NRA Home Firearm Safety, a nationally-recognized training course for the safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition in the home. At the successful completion of this course, students will receive a basic firearm safety certificate which satisfies the Massachusetts legal requirement for applying for a License to Carry firearms (or the Firearms Identification Card, which conveys fewer privileges). Students will be charged $50.00 (cash, or check made out to the name of the President) to cover course materials with proceeds going to the Scholarship Fund. (Classes of this type are currently retailing for $125.00). This course will be open to Club members and their immediate family. Students must register via Signup Genius. The clubhouse indoor range will be closed for the duration of the class. |
