Police training on the outdoor rifle range.
The rifle range remains open for WSC member use,
but timely completion of police activities have precedence over informal shooting.
One round (50 targets) on the Sporting Clays range, 2 25-target rounds at 16 yards on the Trap range using raw scores. Any ties broken with 25-target handicap rounds at starting at 22 yards on the Trap field.
The tournament will run both Trap and Sporting Clays in parallel. So, go to the Trap Shack if that's what you want to do first, or the Sporting Clays trailer if you want to hit the woods first.
The $30 entry fee includes a lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs, macaroni salad, potato salad, chips and soda. Spectators can have lunch for $5 (and it includes a door prize ticket as well).
Some carbuffs amongst the membership plan to cruise on in with their favorite flivvers. After the sun sets, a movie (TBD) will be shown on a giant outdoor screen. All WSC members are invited to join them. $10/car donation appreciated to defray costs.

There will be a work party to get the Trap grounds cleaned up for the Open House, and an excellent way to satisfy your annual work requirement.
This is the short list of the tasks to be completed:
Rake up the plastic hulls
Clean out the trap building (kind of a deep cleaning)
Finish the water proofing of house 1
Paint both trap houses
Weed whack as needed
If there are are extra helpers we will work on the *NEW* flag pole area. If the time allows there are a couple of small barn related chores we can tackle.
Bring gloves, "grubby" jeans and shirt, and work boots; meet at the tractor barn..
