April 9, 2017(4 events) N/A 8:00 am – 12:00 pm Clean up around the pond and club grounds please bring boots or waders rakes. This will be an overall clean-up of the grounds in preparation for the Fishing Derby, and an excellent way to satisfy your annual work requirement. In particular, we will be working around the pond. Bring boots or waders, gloves, and rakes, and meet at the tractor barn. Please direct any questions to the Fishing Derby Chair. 11:30 am – 2:00 pm Registration Required!! All members must have an Orange Card to use the outdoor ranges. Cards are issued after a safety briefing, given by the Outdoor Range Chair. To attend, you must register by EMailing the Chair at least 3 days in advance. 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Sunday afternoon trap. Trap continues to run until the shooters who arrived promptly at 1PM have worn out themselves (and the scorers). This usually occurs by 3PM. So to get the most out of your afternoon, show up at the start of the session. Questions to the Trap Chair. |
April 10, 2017(2 events) 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm WSC's Trap fields are open on Mondays for summer. For our members on the Greater Lowell Trap League, this is a great time to get in practice in lighting situations similar to League evening shoots. (In theory shooting continues until sunset, Direct any questions to our Trap Chair. 5:30 pm – 7:15 pm The handicapped fishing dock will be installed in the trout pond for the season. It would be especially helpful if you can attend with hip waders. Send questions to the Buildings and Grounds Chair. |

Questions to WSC's Trap Chair. 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm Required briefing to obtain access to use Indoor Pistol Range. Register with the Indoor Pistol chair at least two days in advance. Bring gun and approved target ammo. (Strive to give at least two days notice if you have to cancel, too). |

April 15, 2017(2 events) 8:00 am – 12:00 pm The Buildings & Grounds Chair will be leading a pond weed cleanup effort before the Fishing Derby. We’ll take all the help we can get! Many hands make light work. Bring rakes, boots or waders, gloves. If we do this right you may get an early out!
