April 2, 2023(3 events) Palm Sunday N/A Granite State Bowhunters 3-D Shoot, All Archers Welcome! INDOOR RANGE CLOSED7:00 am – 2:00 pm The Archery group is hosting a Granite State Bowhunters 3D shoot. Adult GSB shooters with membership cards pay $12, non-members $15 - save $3 by joining GSB at registration ($10 for individuals, $15 for families). Under 18's shoot free. The clubhouse upstairs will be running a cafe, so the indoor range is closed for the duration. Outdoor ranges should remain open. Questions to the Archery Chair. Trap Fields Open1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Sunday afternoon trap, Show up and sign up from 12:30PM-1:00PM. Trap continues to run until the shooters who arrived promptly have worn out themselves (and the scorers). This usually occurs by 3PM. So to get the most out of your afternoon, show up at the start of the session. Questions to the Trap Chair. |
April 3, 2023(3 events) Police training session - OUTDOOR PISTOL RANGE CLOSED7:00 am – 12:00 pm The outdoor pistol range is reserved for police training. Questions to the Outdoor Range chair. Trap Team Practice4:30 pm – 7:30 pm Both of WSC's Trap fields are open on Mondays in summer for Trap Team practice. For our members on the Greater Lowell Trap League, this is a great time to get in practice in lighting situations similar to League evening shoots. Set-up starts at 4:30PM; shooting starts at 5:00PM and at least runs until 6:30PM, if not sunset. Direct any questions to our Trap Chair. Hybrid General Membership Meeting; Dinner: Breaded Chicken Sandwich; Speaker: Deerfield River fishing7:30 pm – 9:00 pm General Membership meeting at the clubhouse, shared via Zoom teleconference for those who do not wish to meet in person. Massachusetts Gun Law Seminar (Indoor Range Closed)6:00 pm – 9:30 pm This 3½+ hour long seminar explains state and federal laws and regulations in layperson terms. Students will explore applicable MGL and CMR as it pertains to definitions, gun purchase, possession, transport, record keeping requirements, buying/selling, interstate transport, interstate purchase, ammunition storage and best practices for gun owners. Tuition is $10/person; $5 will be donated to GOAL™, and $5 will be donated to the WSC Scholarship Fund. This class is presented by Jon Green, the Director of Education and Training for GOAL.
