To all Members,
Due to the frequent thaw and freeze cycles, the roads and parking areas at the WSC are in very poor shape. For the time being, no vehicles can be driven past the pond to the outdoor ranges. The outdoor ranges remain open, but members will have to park at the center field and walk. Walk with care – the area is very unstable. Also, Sunday’s usual Sporting Clays event is canceled for February 25th.
The parking area on the far side of the Trap clubhouse is also in bad shape, so cars must park on the near side or beside the containers.
The roads must be allowed to dry out. We are working as fast as possible to improve the situation. As soon as things dry out a bit, access will be restored.
(How To Stay Legal and Out of Trouble)
Save the date! Noted gun instructor Len Segal presents an all-day class for laymen.
A 6+ hour exploration of Massachusetts gun laws including ample time for your questions and answers. (NOTE: This is NOT the same material you received in a Basic Firearms Class, it is a lot more comprehensive than that).
We are taking registrations to ensure that we don’t exceed the 75-student attendance cap. At least 12 students have already registered with more on the way, so if you are going to attend, send the Webmaster your name, EMail, phone and WSC membership status.
This class exposes the rumors and presents the facts:
The WSC indoor range is once again open for use. The exhaust system has been fixed. Thank you all for your patience and understanding that your safety comes first.
Questions to the Indoor Range chair.
