Also, payments for rounds may now be made online. Participant use of the online reservation system that was inaugurated during the coronavirus lockdown is now optional - reservations are no longer mandatory. Maps and a compass don't die after a day of constant use, they don't short out when dropped in a puddle, and how well you use them can make your life easy, and possibly even save it. Clubhouse Downstairs Action Bay Qualifications (Pistol range closed 1PM-2PM) – Qualifications for use of the Action Bays by club members, to ensure that participants can safely use a holster with a handgun and shoot safely. In essence, there will be a written test, and you will be required to draw and fire from a holster and hit a target at thirty feet. Requirements:
Full requirements are in the Action Bay Qualification Procedures. The test is an open book 25-question multiple-choice which must be completed in 30 minutes. The passing grade is 21 correct answers, and requires great familiarity with the rules to finish in time. Resources: Action Bay Range Rules and Cross Functional Rules This is a qualification session for the Action Bays. Successful completion is required to gain access to the Action Bays. Outdoor Action Bay Range Outdoor Range Safety Briefing (Pistol range closed 1PM-2PM) – Registration Required!! All members must have an Orange Card to use the outdoor ranges. Cards are issued after a safety briefing, given by the Outdoor Range Chair. To attend, you must register by EMailing the Chair at least 3 days in advance. November 20, 2021(1 event) Turkey Shoot – Annual Turkey Shoot at the Trap Fields. Signups begin at 9:30AM. Participants can win instant prize or raffle chance by breaking special targets mixed in with regular ones. We keep going as long as people want to shoot. $10 entry fee includes two 25-shot rounds of trap, and lunch:
